Training alpacas

I have undertaken a new enterprise here at Lake Liaho - halter training our three yearlings in preparation for our first alpaca show.  Heli-arc, Crimson, and Idlewyld will be traveling to Jacksonville with us in February for the Sunshine State Alpaca Show and Auction.  All three of the alpacas trust me with putting on a halter and enjoy being stoked.  But leading is another matter entirely!  They can be quite stubborn when is comes to taking a step in a direction that they don't want to go.  I have my work cut out for me over the next three weeks to prepare them for their first experience in the show ring.
